Coaley Junction is privately owned, although it began life as a club layout in the Bristol area. Under its new ownership it has undergone a thorough overall and has had a wide range of improvements.
It depicts a real location on the Bristol – Gloucester mainline where the Dursley line branched off. The setting is the early 60s featuring mainly Midland motive power.
The roster of trains includes express passenger workings of Midland and Western origin, considerable freight, plus local traffic. Diesels are beginning to make their presence felt!
